The Green Banana...!

A man is working on the buses in the US collecting tickets.
He rings the bell for the driver to set off when there's a woman half getting on the bus. The driver sets off, the woman falls from the bus and is killed. At the trial the man is sent down for murder and seeing as it's Texas he's sent to the electric chair. On the day of his execution he's sat in the chair and the executioner grants him a final wish.
"Well" says the man, "is that your packed lunch over there?" "Yes" answers the executioner. "Can I have that green banana?"
The executioner gives the man his green banana and waits till he's eaten it. When the man's finished, the executioner flips the switch sending hundreds of thousands of volts through the man. When the smoke clears the man is still alive. The executioner can't believe it.
"Can I go?" the man asks. "I suppose so" says the executioner, "that's never happened before."
The man leaves and eventually gets a job back on the buses selling tickets. Again he rings the bell for the driver to go when people are still getting on. A man falls under the wheels and is killed. The bloke is sent down for murder again and sent to the electric chair. The executioner is determined to do it right this time so rigs the chair up to the electric supply for the whole of Texas.
The bloke is again sat in the chair. "What is your final wish?" asks the executioner. "Can I have that green banana in your packed lunch ?" says the condemned man. The executioner sighs and reluctantly gives up his banana. The bloke eats the banana all up and the executioner flips the switch. Millions of volts course through the chair blacking out Texas. When the smoke clears the man is still sat there smiling in thechair. The executioner can't believe it and lets the man go.
Well, would you believe, the bloke gets his job back on the buses. Once again he rings the bell whilst passengers are still getting on, thistime killing three of them. He is sent to the electric chair again. The executioner rigs up all United States electricity supply to The chair, determined to get his man this time. The man sits down in the chair smiling.
"What's your final wish ?" asks the executioner. "Well" says the man, "Can I have that green banana out of your packed lunch.?" The executioner hands over his banana and the man eats it all, skin included. The executioner pulls the handle and a brazillion volts go through the chair. When the smoke rises the man is still sat there alive without even a burn mark.
"I give up" says the executioner, "I don't understand how youcan still be alive after all that?". He stroked his chin. "It's something to do with that green banana isn't it" he asked.
Nahh" said the bloke,

"I'm just a really bad conductor"...

I've Learned...

... that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it might get better tomorrow.

...that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he handles a rainy day and lost luggage.

...that regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're gone from your life.

...that making a "living" is not the same thing as making a "life."

...that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
...that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision.

...that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one.

...that every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love that human touch - holding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.

Scenes from India....

Couldn't wait untill next wednesday when I saw these pictures on the net...have a look

Devotees carry a statue of the Hindu God Ganesh, the deity of prosperity, for immersion in the sea, on the last day of "Ganesh Chaturthi". Clay statues of Ganesh are made two to three months before this popular religious festival in India. The idols are taken through the streets in a procession accompanied with dancing and singing, to be immersed in a river symbolizing a ritual sendoff on his journey towards his home.

Activists of the People for Animals (PFA) an NGO hold two Dwarf tortoises, which were rescued from a resident in Guwahati, 2008. The pair were later released into the the Dighalipukhuri pond in Guwahati, the capital city of India’s northeastern state of Assam.

Forestry workers look on as a male Royal Bengal Tiger leaps off a boat into the water after being released back into the wild in The Chamta Forest District of The Sunderbans, in India, 2008. The tiger was declared fit for release by veterinarians after it was recently rescued from a nearby village.

A Theyyam dancer waits to perform during festivities marking the start of the annual harvest festival of "Onam" in the southern Indian city of Kochi. The 10-day long festival is celebrated annually in India's southern coastal state of Kerala to symbolise the return of King Mahabali to meet his beloved subjects.

Somethings cant hold us back...I guess its the impressive pictures in my case!!!

My Gaze...

....I never blink, when I see some awesome pictures posted on net... I love to spend sometime looking at them...

Sometimes its the hues...sometimes it is the shade and sometimes its just the gaze in someone's eye which doesnt let me move my glare off the picture...

Wanted to share a few of them....

Love the intensity in her eyes! She hides herself from the dull world around...Beautiful Portrait ever!!

The Colosseum in Italy...search for nightlife on
search engine and you would find dozens of pages turning up...
... but this picture somehow made me click on the same....have read a lot about Roman history... have heard that the Colosseum is the Largets ever built in Roman empire and that it is one of the greatest works of Roman architechture..Standing high on a usual night..but with the light streaks below which makes this photo special....

A Magnificient work of art standing high and bright with natural light complimenting the Landscape

Kids at distress are something none of us want to see...We get 100 mails on poverty every month..."Save the world..donate to charity.."mail this to your friends and one pence will go tot AOL and so on...

But the look in the kid's eyes here seems uneffected by the help we extend him by forwarding those mails.. Do they really get enough from us???

Heart Touching portrait of a young boy whose stare burns our heart from within!

To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place...I've found it little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them...

Wildlife photography need not always look WILD enuf...!

Softness of a Baby against the hardness of a Man!

Who said cups are only to serve Beverages?

Missed Priority...!

U always hear it from Ur manager...Prioritize your work and you will do better...Employees have lots of work to do, but deciding what is the the most urgent thing to do is not always easy. That is why “Priorities management” training are often offered to employees.Below is a picture of someone who might need this kind of training:

I was a bit too lazy this week and take this as an opportunity to blame myself along with the fireman here..I dint prioritize ...Missed a Wednesday... Forgive me friends! Guess there was no fire out there which I dint put offffffffff.... ho ho...
Have always imagined things at work.... if there was some way to extend deadline...like something before the click on save button which gives an option of EXTEND DEADLINE...
I am my own boss now..so I won't fake around again except for this Wednesday... Apologies again!!
